Five More Television Programs I Adore
A couple months ago, I posted a small list of TV shows I love. Turns out I watch a lot of TV. Here are five more. What are your favorites? What else should I start watching?

The title says it all; Paste did a similar list a few weeks ago, but I wanted to give my .02, so enjoy these classics.
Honorable Mention: Red Hot Chili Peppers – Californication
Today I continue my ongoing feature showcasing my personal picks for the best songs of the past decade, posting ten songs at a time.
200. 50 Cent – I Get Money
Dr. Dre and Eminem’s protege hasn’t released anything of substance, save for this song, in my opinion. Most would say his first album is pretty good, and that “In Da Club” is an alright song, but they are sadly mistaken. For some reason though, this song, released late in Fiddy’s career, really took a shine to me. Maybe it’s the snare hits, the deep synth line, or the rhythmic sampling. Maybe it’s 50’s dumb rhymes. Maybe it’s because every time I hear this song my thoughts hearken back to a college party when a friend was trying to teach me how to C-walk to this song. Yeah, it’s probably that last one.
Today I conclude my series of posts showcasing my picks for the best tracks of 2009. And it only took half a year!
10. Grizzly Bear – Two Weeks
It sounds like nothing they’ve ever done before, so cheerful, so upbeat, so….piano pop. But it works just the same. It still feels like Grizzly Bear – the lush production, the layered harmonics. And the lightbulb-head music video is a fun watch as well.

210. The Go! Team – Universal Speech
Cheerleader chanting, party-inducing raps, and cheeky melodies made the Go! Team an indie rock sensation right around the time I entered college in 2005. This rarely-referenced album track from the sophomore effort Proof of Youth is one of my personal favorites. I’m pretty sure it’s that infectious drum beat at the beginning and the way it glides along with that piano line. It’s a surefire way to get sampled in hip-hop in the future, that’s for sure.

20. Kid Sister – Right Hand Hi
We waited a long time for Ultraviolet, and it was worth it. Sure, most of the tracks had been previously heard (thank you Internet), but having them all in one cohesive package made for a pretty stellar dance mixtape. Not to mention it began with this banger, an ode to “stackin’ money and drinkin’ all night.” How could you not get that hand up high?
I really like these videos. You will too. Promise.
